Beach Lake Stables & Camp Delta is built on expert care, true horsemanship, and a commitment to giving every horse and rider a place to grow. From scenic trails to professional arenas, we focus on creating a safe, inspiring space where horses thrive, and riders feel at home.

We are delighted to introduce you to Beach Lake Stables, which is located within Camp Delta, an exceptional equestrian boarding facility that perfectly blends natural beauty with rich equestrian tradition. Spanning 33 acres in the heart of the Sacramento River Delta, our unique property is a serene haven for horses, humans, and wildlife alike. With 10 acres adjoining a protected wildlife habitat, you will enjoy unparalleled privacy and trails set against a stunning backdrop teeming with migratory birds, deer, otters, foxes, bald eagles, and more.

Beach Lake Stable & Camp Delta provide a complete boarding environment designed for comfort, safety, and exploration. Our amenities include:


  • Indoor arena and two outdoor arenas
  • Walking path and seasonal nature preserve horse trails
  • Western, English, and dressage are welcome

History

Established in 1971. Today, we operate as a fully functional horse boarding facility. Our dedicated, full-time on-site team ensures the horses receive top-notch care, including clean stalls, rotation through shaded pastures, and access to state-licensed riding trails throughout the Sacramento Delta.

Features

Our ranch features a large, beautifully lit covered arena that is dragged and watered daily, along with two outdoor arenas, lockers, and a tack room. We take pride in our close-knit, responsible community of boarders, many of whom have been with us for over a decade, with some surpassing twenty years. Local veterinarians and skilled farriers frequently visit to ensure our horses’ well-being.

Premium Horse Boarding Services

Our daily services include mucking each stall, providing fresh shavings, cleaning and refilling water buckets, and meticulously maintaining all pastures. We offer turnouts and feedings three times a day to keep our horses happy and healthy. Our spacious stalls measure 12 by 12 paddocks with both inside and outside views, and we also offer 12 by 24 double stalls for those needing more space.

I am delighted to announce that this April , Beach Lake Stables and Camp Delta will proudly present the Cowboy Experience. We have an array of exciting activities lined up for you, and we can't wait for you to join us. Our stable will have several horses available for scheduled rides through the picturesque Delta trails, where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.


But that's not all! You can tie up your horse and take a guided kayak tour through Beach Lake and into the Delta itself—an exclusive area where no other humans are allowed. We kindly ask you to respect the pristine surroundings during your adventure.


For an unforgettable package, experience the combination of horse riding and kayaking, along with a luxury boat ride from Cliff's Marina across the street to Old Sacramento. Spend some quality time exploring, and we'll bring you back in style.


Camp Delta will offer a variety of experiences for our visitors staying in our luxury accommodations, including Bungalow One, Bungalow Two, the Tiny House, and Delta Gardens Main House. For those looking for a day trip, day passes will be available, and from Monday through Wednesday, trail rides will be open to the public, led by our trained trail boss who will ensure you have a fantastic ride. You can even give yourself a short lesson and maybe learn how to saddle a horse.


We are also seeking volunteers to help out when the horses need baths. Camp Delta is a place where you can truly enjoy nature through water, animals, and hiking. Our large community room will serve as the hub for main activities and meals.
